Amanda Bates is a Third Culture Kid who grew up in the United States and Cameroon.  Professionally, Amanda is a career strategist who helps individuals design the careers of their dreams.  She is also the founder of The Black Expat, a multimedia platform dedicated to black identity and international living.

In her presentation Amanda will discuss the reasons behind the creation of The Black Expat, and why it is valuable to highlight the stories of the often underrepresented.
