Expatclic is a multilingual and multicultural global platform where expat women worldwide can find support in their relocations. It is a virtual meeting place of convivial chatter, hard facts, soul searching, first-hand accounts, and shared triumph. It accompanies expat women in all phases of their life abroad – from the decision to relocate to the return to their passport country.
At Expatclic, we work incessantly to provide a useful and welcoming place where expat women can find the kind of help they need when moving. We publish high-quality articles, inspire lively discussions, provide contacts and information to relocating women, launch creative initiatives like photo and literary competitions, and encourage expat women to maintain their professional identity abroad. Our team is made up of international expat women who give their time for free, and Expatclic and ExpatWomen at Work can be accessed and used at no cost.
However, all this costs money. Expatclic is managed by an Italian non-profit association, which has chosen not to use advertising. Our only income is generated by membership fees and donations, and at times this makes it hard to cover all costs. We have many of them – from webmaster fees to hosting space, from graphic restyling to administrative costs, from software to offer online webinars to our members to prizes for our competitions, to name just a few.
We want to continue to be a steady point in the life of expat women. We are ready and happy to continue to work for free, but we need your help to cover all the costs involved.
