Morgan Cooper, Creative Entrepreneurship in Occupied Palestine

Founder of Handmade Palestine, Morgan has lived nearly half her life in occupied Palestine, though originally from California. In 2012 she married into a Ramallah family. She and her husband founded a non profit for nature conservation and later she started this e-commerce entrepreneurship to support Palestinian artisans, the majority of whom are women, and to preserve Palestinian heritage. Through endless creativity, she has navigated ways to overcome the many discriminative measures of imperialism to impede Palestinian artisans in the efforts to sustain livelihoods.
Morgan will share her experience of using creativity to overcome obstacles in developing project in Occupied Palestine.
