Since you are here...

...may we ask you to buy us a caffe ? We are joking of course, but there is something we would like to tell you. You might have noticed that Expatclic has no ads or paywall. For 15 years we have been working voluntarily to provide quality contents and support to expat women all over the world. However, keeping such a big website going has some costs, which we partially cover with team member’s fees and donations of those who appreciate us and wants our work to continue. If you could give even a tiny contribution to cover the rest, we would be immensely grateful ♥ You can support us with a small donation or by becoming an honorary member. Thank you so very much.

Hello, I will soon move from Bouaflé, Ivory Coast to Conakry, Guinea. I have noticed that the link on your site for international women in Conakry doesn’t work and that the facebook page has not been updated since 2014. I am wondering if there is any other way I could reach out and find other women and/or networks in Conakry. I am eager to move but honestly, I have no clue as to how to find people to connect with. Any tips or suggestions are very welcome!

      Hi Meta,
yes, the page on FB seems inactive..have you tried to send them a message anyway?
The only other expat women’s association in Conakry we are aware of is Conakry Accueil (https://www.conakryaccueil.com/). It’s the French welcoming association, formed mostly by women. They are always very active and welcoming, but I am afraid you have to speak French…keep us posted in case you find a great association once you get there. Good luck!
